On December 3, from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM, a Red Cross Blood Drive, sponsored through the high school, took place in the Parish Hall. Students, faculty and Administration answered the call to help our community; we exceeded the expectations of both the Red Cross and the school. Thirty students and faculty had signed up and thirty four donors actually gave blood that day! With Southern California facing a need to import 40% of its needs for whole blood, this truly is a gift of life. Thanks to all who saw the need and came forward to help. While SA has held an annual drive for several years, interest this year was very high; we plan to hold another event in late spring to accommodate those under 16, who were not able to donate this fall. Go Saints!
