SA JAZZ ENSEMBLE dazzles the community!

It’s a been busy time for our SAHS Jazz Ensemble. Word is out there that their talent and sounds are well worth the time to enjoy. Congratulations to Mr. Lloyd, musical director, and our students who are making a positive impact in the community with their musical talents.

On Sunday, March 18, the SA Jazz Ensemble performed in front of a packed St. Maria Goretti parish hall for 45 minutes while festival attendees enjoyed an array of food selections. It was a very well received performance.

The next day the group travelled to perform at the Blessing and Grand Opening of Catholic Charities’ Elizabeth Ann Seton Residence in Villages at Cabrillo here in Long Beach. Present for the event was Los Angeles Archbishop Jose Gomez, San Pedro Regional Bishop Oscar Solis, Msgr. Gregory Cox – Executive Director of Catholic Charities and Anna Totta – San Pedro Pastoral Regional Director of C.C. along with dignitaries representing the City of Long Beach.
