Shakespearean Sonnets

An example of an Ap student's sonnet:

Ophelia's Sonnet

Pleas for thy love wasted upon deaf ears
Ay my love, for thou will not once more sing
Of words which make blood boil whispered so near
From this my lord would turn to scorn false king

My voice though busy halls, in sound so shrill
Whilst my sweet love is sent to early bed
From coldest slumber awake! For I am ill
In mind, I yearn for sweetest promise to wed

Thou turns from sanity as now do I
Madness matched with madness, for you forsake
Wordly pleasures which would make lovers sigh
My life, my love I leave for you to take

For you first love, I bequeath womb's first fruit
If you were here I would not seek vile root
