A rematch of our CIF Southern Section 5A title game is on tap for Saturday, March 20 at 1PM. Our Lady Saints defeated the Lady Mounties of Montclair Prep (Van Nuys) 57-47 on March 4 for the CIF Div 5A Championship in a game played at Mater Dei High School.
SA was seeded #1 in the CIF SoCal State Playoffs and Montclair Prep received the #3 seed. SA is now 24-9 overall and Montclair Prep is 24-7.
We meet again next Saturday at 1PM at Colony High School in Ontario to determine the SoCal Champion. The winner of the game will play the following Saturday at 9AM in Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield in the CIF STATE DIV 5 CHAMPIONSHIP game. That game will be against the Northern California Champion. #1 Pinewood, 25-6 (Los Altos Hills) and #2 Bradshaw Christian, 25-6 (Sacramento) will decide that on Saturday, also at 1PM in a game played at Folsom H.S. in the Sacramento area.
